At Ebenezer Global, we provide a large variety of vocational training programs to help individuals develop the skills to get on their feet and succeed. As time progresses and the community expresses a demand, we will continuously introduce new trainings to our program.

  • Construction

    Learning the basics of carpentry, joinery, plumbing, masonry, and maintenance hands-on with experienced professionals.

    Goal: To enhance life skills and provide training and job opportunities to refugees and the host community.

  • Beauty Production

    Learning the skill of formulating and creating handmade beauty products so that they are more accessible. Production includes but is not limited to: liquid soap, bar soap, bathing soap, shampoo, and vaseline.

    Goal: To produce quality products and supply at an affordable price for refugees and the host community, and provide skills training to generate income for self-reliance.

  • Hair & Cosmetics

    Learning how to braid, cut, shampoo, relax and condition hair, as well as apply makeup. In addition, individuals can come in for hairdressing, makeup, manicures and pedicures.

    Goal: To empower individuals to earn skills to support themselves and their families. In addition, to enhance self confidence through state of the art practices.

  • Tailoring & Design

    Learning to design school uniforms, African kitenge, and African Gomeshi through basic sewing, sewing machine knowledge, and fashion design skills.

    Goal: To equip refugees and the host community with practical life skills for creating job opportunities for self reliance, improve the fashion industry, and create personal styles.

  • IT & Computer Literacy

    Learning to navigate and utilize relevant technology and computer literacy. Basic trainings include Microsoft applications, internet and email, typing and scanning, and computer repair and maintenance.

    Goal: To empower refugees and the host community with understanding of how computers and web based programs work, so that they can gain independence. As well as that, to provide a space and resources where they can come to access information.

  • Pastoral Training

    Learning to become leaders in faith and minister the gospel through theological and Biblical courses. The pastors examine religious scriptures and the Biblical implications of spiritual devotion and Christianity.

    Goal: To enhance pastors with more understanding of how religion, morality, and justice are integrated with faith. This program helps pastors understand how to study the word of God and live it out in ministry.
