Community is everything
Many pastors within the refugee settlement have not had the opportunity to attend seminary school. Ebenezer Global, in collaboration with Disciple Hub, developed a comprehensive Pastoral Training Program to address this need. This program offers a diverse range of Biblical courses, encompassing various topics, themes, and levels of complexity, eliminating the necessity for physical books or materials.
Utilizing an extensive library of Biblical courses, pastors will delve into religious scriptures and explore the foundational elements of Christian belief and practice. They will examine the historical context, background, and teachings of the Bible, gaining insights into how to effectively apply its principles to everyday life. This dynamic training program aims to empower pastors with a deeper understanding of their faith, equipping them to better serve their communities.

Sports Development
In 2019, a dedicated missionary team from Tennessee, Texas, and Uganda collaborated with Ebenezer Global to organize a highly successful four-day soccer training camp. The overwhelming impact of this initiative led to the creation of our Soccer Academy Program. This inclusive program unites boys and girls from diverse tribes and denominations, offering mentorship and guidance through the teachings of the Word of God.
Participants in the Soccer Academy engage in weekly soccer training sessions and Bible studies, while also dedicating their Saturdays to serving the vulnerable members of their communities such as orphans, and individuals with disabilities. They are also volunteering in cleaning hospitals, U.N. compound, and food distribution centers.
The Soccer Academy is structured into separate teams for boys and girls, accommodating players between the ages of 11 and 25:
Boys Senior Team (18 to 25 years old)
Boys Junior Team (11 to 17 years old)
Girls Team
Through sportsmanship, teamwork, and spiritual growth, our Soccer Academy fosters a sense of unity, personal development, and community service among its participants.
Agriculture
In 2023, due to funding, the UN decreased and in some cases cut off food distribution for certain groups. This led to a food shortage in Bidi Bidi. To meet needs, the UN provided land to the refugees to grow their own foods. The challenge is that the land is 10 miles each way from the camp and it is not ready for planting. A person would need to walk 10 miles to prepare the land, which includes cutting down shrubs and trees without proper equipment, and walk another 10 miles to return home. In 2023, Ebenezer Global started an initiative to support these farmers. Through this initiative, we supported some single mothers and widows by clearing farm land and providing tools and seeds.
