Northern Uganda - Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement: In July of 2016, a conflict erupted in South Sudan pushing over 2 million South Sudanese refugees to Northern Uganda. 85% being women and children. As these refugees flee from persecution, famine, and war, Refugee settlements become the communities where they settle. Bidi Bidi is one of the refugee settlements that hosts over 280,000 of these refugees.
