Empowering rural refugees and host community

Ebenezer Global exists to provide holistic care to refugees and the host community through leadership and skills training so they can excel and become change-agents in their communities.

Why Uganda?

In 2016, a conflict in South Sudan forced over 2 million refugees, mostly women and children, to flee to Northern Uganda. Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement alone houses 280,000 of these refugees.

Our vocational training programs empower individuals to become self-reliant and contribute to the community. Through vocational training, individuals can gain the necessary skills to secure employment and rebuild their lives, offering a sense of hope and stability in challenging circumstances.

Support for Communities

Our support for communities fosters a sense of unity, support, and empowerment. Community development initiatives encourage participation and the sharing of resources and knowledge. They help create a stronger and more resilient community, where individuals can thrive and overcome the hardships they face.
