THE UNFORGIVENESS PURGE: KEEPING YOUR HEART FULL OF PEACE AND JOY

The Spiritual Principle of Forgiveness happens when I/we forgive people by faith and obedience through THE WORD of God. There is a blessing by OUR Father in Heaven coming from that; as well as peace and prosperity for OUR Souls and Lives. WHO do You Need to FORGIVE TODAY? Yourself? God? Mom or Dad? A Brother or Sister? A Current or Former Spouse? A Family Member? A Friend? A Boss or Co-Worker? A Neighbor? An Enemy? Someone who has wronged or hurt you? 1 Peter 5:7 AMP says “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” Ask The Holy Spirit to bring to your heart and mind who you need to forgive. Whoever He brings to your heart and mind, forgive them by Faith. Do not rob yourself of the opportunity God has shown you by saying and telling yourself, “I have already forgiven them, or I don’t have unforgiveness for that person.”

THE 5 STEPS TO WALKING IN LOVE AND FORGIVENESS FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS

When you have some thoughts of irritation, anger, frustration, resentment or any other unforgiving type of thoughts throughout your day, pray to God for repentance and forgiveness of the sin of irritation, frustration, and unforgiveness you have in your life and heart. This will allow you to walk in daily forgiveness and Grace! This practice will also allow you to keep your heart clean, and as it tells us in Ephesians 4:27, “give the devil no place” meaning give him no foothold at all in your life! 1) This can be done by praying this simple prayer, “Lord, I confess my sins of unforgiveness (irritation, frustration, resentment, etc name whatever that negative thought or feeling is) for _____________(the person’s name or name the situation), and I release those thoughts and feelings of __________ (talk to God about those thoughts and feelings and name them) to You in the Name of Jesus. Amen.” 2) Pray for God to help you forgive. “Lord, I ask You for help with forgiving this person. You know how I feel about them, Lord, but I am not moved by my feelings. I am moved by Your WORD, and it says to forgive.”

HOW TO DEFEAT ENVY AND BEING OFFENDED BY GOD

Thoughts of scarcity need to have no place in our lives, and therefore we must rebuke them as they come to our minds. We often see others that are successful in certain areas of their lives and because we do not feel like we got blessed with that success, we have a tendency to get resentful, angry, and bitter at them and even God. We find ourselves saying things to God like, “When are these type of successes and blessings coming my way? Why do I always get the short end of things in life? Why did I not get the promotion at work? Why is their marriage so perfect and blessed? Why are their kids so well behaved, and mine are not?” When we look at other people’s social media pages like Facebook, we are looking at others’ lives and it begins to get easy to be resentful at God about what we perceive He’s not doing in our own life. You may need to ask yourself, “when is the last time you put something negative about your own life or your struggle and shortcomings on Facebook?”
